Day 2

I got up around 5:30 am. I had a comfortable sleep, and my body was well relaxed. I was ready for the challenge of day 2. We both were ready to leave by 6:30am but it was drizzling. We were confused about whether to leave in rain or wait for some time. We decided to mount the luggage on the bike and leave as soon as it stops to rain.

We left our hotel at 7:00 am. Roads were wet so we were going a bit slower. It was still drizzling but we were able to ride through it. We were able to see clear skies ahead. As we reached Udaipur, the rain stopped and the bright sun appeared. We refueled and started moving towards Jaipur.

The road we were going on was in excellent condition. We reached Nathdwar where we saw a hugs Statue of God Shiva. We decided to go nearby and click some pictures. It is a very huge statue which is easily visible from far away. On speaking to locals we came to know that the Statue is 107 Mtr tall and is also known as the Statue of Belief. It was envisioned by Madan Paliwal, Chairman of Miraj Group. It is the Largest Shiva Statue in the world and among the Five largest statues in the World. It is very nice place to be. We clicked some pictures and headed towards Jaipur.

The road from Nathdwar to Ajmer is not that great. We had our breakfast on the way. It was around 10:30am by that time. We could feel the temperate rising. We took some basic stops after that till we reach Jaipur.

We reached Jaipur around 4:30pm. Checked into Hotel, got fresh, and then decided to head out for some sightseeing. We were informed that there will be a night curfew after 6:00pm, so we were told to get back by 6:00pm. We headed towards Hawa Mahal, which was 20 min ride from the Hotel. Due to covid, Hawa Mahal was closed for visitors. So we were not able to get inside. But we saw it from outside. Clicked a lot of pictures over there.

Hawa Mahal is the city center with busy and crowded streets. There are lots of places to shop for local goods. On the other hand, I found the products to be very expensive. I was because a lot of foreign tourists come to visit these shops. It was a good experience there. Then we had some street food and then returned to the hotel around 7:00pm.
